I'm sure with all the companies that make better products than Sony in many markets, MSFT would choose Sony ;) lol.
Sony designed hardware would be an epic fail. xbox 720 controllers would explode and burn people(maybe the 720 will use all wired controllers then we won't see burn victims). I don't trust them, having low failures on the PS3 isn't enough for me when PS1 and PS2 had major issues.
Yeah except one of them has higher resolution, more detail, better textures, better lighting and more visual effects everything else is the same like you said like: gameplay, story and characters.
Why? Sony has trouble building their own hardware when it comes to quality. They also make bad choices in hardware design (bad design choices as in performance, not build quality)
Figures you'd say that, the PS3 version has less detail/textures, has lighting and visual effects missing and seems to run at a lower resolution.

You goofy kid if you read my comment and understood it you would know the mode I was talking about is not the controller settings in the demo's menu but something called *action* control* and will be in the retail version.
They have to do something after Sony learned from their mistake they made with the PS2 issues, there is not much to do for Sony anyways this generation stuck way back in 3rd.
I don't think MSFT would have a company that has never had the strongest hardware in any generation (in the game industry) build their console having a track record for failures in hardware.
I guess the 360 version does to then. I never checked because so many people were crying about it.

Does anybody know if HBO has real HD content? My HBO HD channel looks good *most of the time* but doesn't have the HD on the menu guide next to the title name etc(I use comcast cable)
The info guide with show/program/movie descriptions never show *HD* next to the content on HBO HD like on all the other *filmed* in HD content on all the other HD channels.

I'm happy with the action control setting but I read the game won't have it now(shooting while running etc). Hope thats not true.
